They live in Europe and Persia. She has 6 brothers. Her Twin,
Shahbaz, came to Zibyl years ago. She came in search of him.

She befriended a hawk, named Farzan, after she became a
hawk herself. He is not considered a pet.

History
Ishtar was born the youngest of a set of twins. He and her
brother were closer then most twins. She can even sense some
of his stronger emotions or when hes in danger.
Her and Shahbaz differ in very few ways. The main way is their
temperaments. She tends to be more of a hot head when he is
completely calm. Nothing fazes him but it doesn't take much to
set her off. Ishtar is starting to learn to control her temper.
Her brother and her parted ways after college.
Now, years later, she lost touch with her brother. No one in her
family had heard from him since he moved to a little island called
Zibyl. She didn't think much up it until the day she sensed he was
in danger.
She came looking for him and eventually developed into a mutant.
The day she had sensed he was in danger was the day of the
earthquake. She hasn't found him yet, but she has heard from the
locals that he is still alive.

Powers
-Hawk-
Ishtar can transform into a hawk. She also has hawk like abilities
when in human form, including enhanced sight, hearing and other
senses. She can communicate with other birds. She processes
things a lot faster than a normal human.
She seems to act a lot more like a hawk then her brother, even
when she is in human form.

-Appropriating Life-
Upon touching something, she can pull the life force from it and
use it as her own. She can use the life to heal herself or others. It
can also give her more energy or sustain her so she doesn't have to
eat or drink for long periods of time. She can also heal another
person to an extent.
This power doesn't seem to work on humans or other animals. She
usually takes the life of plants because they are strong and sustain
her for longer periods of time. For some reason, she can also do it
with light bulbs. When she appropriates a life force, she leaves some
so the plant can eventually come back to life.

Abilities
Ishtar is compassionate. She can communicate with all birds, better
than her brother. Its still easier with Raptors then with other birds
though.

Equipment
She doesn't need anything but the clothes on her back.

Transportation
Usually flying, but she walks when its required.

Weapons
She prefers not to fight, but when she must, she uses her beak and
talons in hawk form and a bow and arrow when human. She has
extreme skill and accuracy with the bow.
Sometimes her temper may get the best of her and she may attack.
