Looking for treasure.

Reox looked around the new landmass that had emerged after the incident with Furen it didn't seen all that remarkable what with its destroyed and worn down buildings still covered in moss and mildew but Reox wasn't going to complain; it was said treasured were here and Reox was going to have a look; Chibi wanted to come too she seemed to like the thought of searching for treasure.

Notably Chibi was a child and she found the idea of a treasure hunt to be fraught with fun and danger though technically there could be none to her, she was dead but the idea and premise was fun that she jumped into when Reox had offered her that over hanging around the office in the Chao Tower. She brushed her astral fingers over the moss and it literally shriveled and died away, as her body absorbed the astral energy and killed off the plant.

Reox looked around and hummed softly;' some of the buildings were still standing strong despite god knows how many years it had been underwater.

She hovered, easily sinking into tiny places enough that she'd vanish from sight only to later reappear quite a ways away from Reox, wandering ahead though nothing could really happen to her so there was no reason for him to worry about her running off.

Merill walked rather aimlessly through the ruins, looking around with a rather blank expression. It certainly had the atmosphere for treasure but he really wished he ad a better purpose for coming. It wasn't like he needed the treasure and he preferred being inside the Colosseum where there were no others, he wouldn't go with the fact that it had sounded fun. Even if he was a child he'd always forced a more mature composure on himself as his size and image took away from it far too much. People already saw him as a child anyways.

The main perk to this place was that he could be wandering around outside and there supposedly weren't often people around. His amber eyes looked over the moss covered ruins and he frowned a little, this place would be really easy to get lost in. How troublesome that would be... Not to mention humiliating. He sighed, maybe this wasn't a good idea.

Merill froze as he heard someone humming, walking slowly around the side of a house he peeked around the corner. Seeing to people coming towards where he stood he quickly pulled himself back, leaning against the moist wall for a moment before jumping away and looking over his shoulder at the back of his coat. It was a little damp and he cursed himself in his head.

Ami and Shiloh accidentally had followed Chibi and Reox. They were in need of a good adventure and when word went about that there was this strip of land the twins felt a need to go check the place out. In order to speed their time, Ami used her healing abilities to change the muscle structure in her arms and legs so when she was in wolf form, she would go that much faster. Shiloh decided to speed up his flight while with Ami so the two could travel that much faster. Both slowly wondered what would be here and if anyone was surely there to have the same idea as them.

Skuld hover and glanced around, she didn't seem to hear anyone around but Reox's humming but she suddenly seem distracted like maybe someone was around. She gave herself a boost and she floated even higher, descending down to look over the area. Her head moved from side to side, glancing over and around things carefully. She smiled, it looked like almost a perfect place to play hide and seek.

Roex noticed CHibi was lookign around for somethign or at least sensed it "Hey CHibi you find something?" He asked with a schickle a she looekd up and follwoed her faint outline.

She looked back at Reox, and shook her tiny head, she flowed carefully only maybe twenty feet away where the other was hiding or concealing himself. SHe frowned, she'd hoped to actually find something of value, finding nothing was boring.

Reox followed her before he closed his eyes and used his wind magic to sense at the air around him; he could smell someone...another person nearby, smirking Reox followed the others scent like a dog would before he smirked "Well hello what do we have here?" Reox asked a she picked Rill up by his jacket and held him off the floor.

Merill could hear them talking a little as he gave up on trying to brush the water from the back of his coat. He looked around himself at the mossy walls of the dilapidated houses that surrounded him and sighed. They all looked the same really, maybe their shapes were a little different but other than that they were really hard to tell apart. Not only were they hard to tell from here but he had no idea which ones he'd passed already.

He turned to face the direction he'd come from, or at least what he thought was the direction he'd come from and scanned the ruins ahead of him. Letting out a soft groan he shook his head, they all looked the same no matter how hard he looked. His ears suddenly picked up footsteps coming towards him... no, behind him.

He turned around to be grabbed by a taller man. Actually, most people were taller than him so that was really nothing special. Merill let out a slightly muffled squeak as he was lifted easily off the ground by the collar of his coat. The fabric slid up a little in the front and he flinched as the seams under his arms dug into him. Bracing his hands against Reox's that held held him and pushing away, he made a meager attempt to free himself. "Ow! Get off! Let me go!" He said, not quite raising his voice to level that the distressed tone in it would suggest it should have been. He'd had his eyes closed for most of the time but slowly opened them to look up at him as he gave up a little on struggling.

She glanced wide eyed at the newcomer he sense and she looked impressed by how easily Reox had dispatched the mystery. She had thought she sensed something but she hadn't been able to sense him. Her eyes turned suspiciously on him, what was he doing out here?

She glanced at the boy, he looked quite a bit older then her, like he was a teenager rather then a kid anymore. One thing was for sure he wasn't any kid she ever knew or met.

Reox raised an eyebrow "A Kid? what are you doing around here?" He asked curiously ignoring the others rather lame attempt at pushing him away he just knew if he let the kid go he;d bail so he kept him dangles two feet in the air.

Merill forced the startled expression off his place and put on a calm mask as he looked up at Reox, his amber eyes still reflected fear but they were defiant as well. "Because I feel like it! Besides, it's none of your business." He snapped, pulling away again but only feeling himself slip farther against the seams under his arms.

He blinked as he looked at him again. He was pretty sure he'd seen him somewhere before, maybe just at the Colosseum? No, that wasn't it. Staying in there for so long, he didn't much remember people from before.

His eyes darted down to his belt where he usually kept his weapon, his eye brows pulled together as he remembered the only thing he'd brought as a small knife. He really had been counting on not running into trouble here.

Turning back to look up at him again, Merill narrowed his eyes as a sudden pain pulsed through Reox's head and through the rest of his body. It wasn't much, but even then was a shock to his body and it felt like a lot. He hardly ever worked with his powers so his body wasn't used to using them.

Reox raised an eyebrow" Hey hey no need for the nasty attitude I'm just curious, kids shouldn't wander around here alone its dangerous" He said before he winched at the pain in his head and body he gripped the others jacket tight before his eyes glowed red "Stop it" He said softly but his words sounded dark was he turned pure black with white eyes his body turning into a black mist that wrapped around the other keeping him trapped "Now that wasn't very nice at all didn't anyone teach you manners?" Reox asked calmly in this morph/ghost like state.

Skuld on the other hand drifted forward, glancing up close at the kid and bringing a ghostly hand to feel his skin. She then drifted back, if he didn't say a word she always could engage his astral form in the astral plane, challenging him for possession of his body to try to discern his motives. But she knew that would be a little rash without reason so she watch and waiting for him to interact with Reox before drawing her own conclusions.

Merill glared up at him, he'd considered biting his hand but since he didn't know what he did with it he quite frankly didn't want it in his mouth. He would rather it wasn't anywhere near him really but there didn't seem to be anyway out of it. That last attack, no matter how weak, left his body quite exhausted.

His amber eyes widened as the dark, eerie miasma that emanated from this man, wrapped around him and held him there. Merill let out a soft cry as he made an attempt to struggle, not from his bindings but the movement hurt. If he'd focused more energy into the attack it would have had the exact same side effect but he'd used a weak one instead.

Merill squeezed his eyes closed and turned his face away. He couldn't move his body to wipe his eyes so the best he could do was turn his head to hide his tears. They weren't from fear, or at least not entirely, they were more for the fact that his neglect to his powers had left him like this and that the creatures that he attacked and took against their will to his Colosseum to kill each other had him pinned.

"Hey hey whats the tears fo? Reox asked has wiped them away "Look you ain't got anything to fear from me Im just keeping you in place so you don't run off in a panic and hurt yourself" He said "it's dangerous out here" He said "Besides you look tired"

She glanced over at Reox and seemingly looked as if asking one or two questions. What was going on and was he okay? Reox never acted like that to anyone upon first meeting someone so the kid had to be doing something. She was getting irritable about how lost she was so either the kid or Reox was going to be possessed to get her answers and right now her eyes turned on the suspicious feeling she had over the kid they were meeting.

Merill pulled his face away from Reox, uncomfortable with the contact. Having his eyes closed was just pushing the tears out more easily he found and opened them again, gasping quietly as he looked back at Reox again and then at Skuld before looking back at Reox again. 'Saviors....' He felt his heart beat quicken as he stared up at Reox. Did they really not recognize him? It may just be a matter of time as it had been for him.

He swallowed as he concentrated on calming himself. He couldn't think of anything to say, the only thing he could focus on was the two saviors and the pain in all of his movements. Even breathing hurt a little. "I..." He stopped and bit his lower lip. He didn't want to say anything that would hint to them who he was if they hadn't noticed yet, or maybe they hadn't really seen him. There were many people he'd simply watched from inside or seen while he was walking who hadn't noticed him.

Merill gasped as he made another attempt to move, the pain in his body mixing with that of the fabric under his arms. "I-I won't run... Just put me down, you're hurting me." He said, though, he found that maybe it would have been a better idea to just stay hanging and wait to be put down instead of speaking as he voice was shaky and even sounded a little teary. 'How pathetic.'

For some reason she just DIDN'T want to trust this person, at the best of times she didn't want to trust a person, but he didn't feel right and she gave an obvious frown at Reox and shook her head. She didn't want to trust this one as far as she could throw him unless she could take a look for herself but Reox tended to be a lot more lenient in judgment then she was, A LOT MORE.

Reox frowned at that kid before he turned normal again he was still holding the kid up both eh gently set him down; there was somethign about this kid that was bugging him... "What's you name?"

Merill sighed as Reox turned back and the haze cleared, leaving him held up by only his hand that Merill still held onto from when he was pushing himself away. He slowly let go of him, wincing as he lowered his arms to his sides. This pain wouldn't last long, but for now it was an inconvenience.

As he was placed back on the ground he felt his knees buckle under his own weight, he could have held himself up but he honestly thought it would be more comfortable on the ground where his legs didn't have to go through the pain of supporting him. Was he going to end up stranded here with them? When he got back home he'd have to start working on his powers again... If he got back.

Merill looked up as he was asked his name and frowned a little. Did they know his name? He knew people would recognize Pellyn from the Colosseum but he wasn't so sure about his first name... either way. He grit his teeth. "I don't tell my name to strangers." He said, glancing away. His nickname wouldn't have worked either, not many knew him by it but it had been the name announced from the City Hall by Ragna, which he was still a little angry about.

She folded her ghostly arms with a frown, he was obviously hiding his identity for a reason and she was tempted to know that reason.

Reox caught him and scooped him up in one arm "Easy kid" He said with a frown before he raised an eyebrow "Well that's smart but seen as you tried to blast my mind open with your powers dont you think you owe me?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. "I'm Reox if that's any help...though you already recognized me right? The others look on his face had not gone unnoticed.
