Redoxs pulled the phone out of his pocket and placed it on the desk "Start talking" He said a she looked up at her amused "COme on I can't work if I know something's bugging you"

She shook her head and this time she hovered away leaving him alone, this was a pretty big question and deal to her but she didn't want it to be a negative answer.

Finally, inevitably, she got bored and drifted back over to watch him while he was consumed in the work, wondering if she should ask when she wasn't distracting him from what he wanted to do. She could get an answer and he would still be able to do his work she figured. She didn't get the fact he might be so into his work that what she might be saying might not be registering.

Reox was aware CHibi was there but he was currently figuring out a few math calculations; Reox wasn't anything short but a genius both mechanically and mathematically.

She didn't answer for a moment, thinking she knew she shouldn't have asked, a moment later she said tenatively, "Uh huh, you said yes too, what's wrong?"

She sounded like she was really going to be downed and depressed if he said no, like she wanted to cry.

Reox stared at her "Uh...well" Fuck he didnt know how to be a parent! Let a lone to a 6 year old spirit! "I sorta wasn't expecting it" He said with a sweatdrop; it was probably what chibi wanted to avoid rejection.

"I didn't want to bother you when you were working so I thought I would ask when you didn't get distracted by me being around....."

She missed the fact that she wouldn't have taken him off guard had he known she was there and what she was asking before he said yes, "Is it a no now?"

She wasn't stupid Reox seemed to be slightly backing up once he got to realizing just what she was asking.

Reox sweatdropped even more "W-well there more to begin a father...I thinK" He said as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly; he was clueless on what dto do; if he said no Chibi might get upset or mad at him if he was sees it meant he;d have to figure out how to be a parent to a 6 year old spirit; which was hardly the norm.

She didn't think so much thought had to be put into it, she didn't see why he couldn't just answer it, the longer it wasn't the more she felt like she should have never asked or wanted it.

She seemed pretty convicted and convinced that she was right too because she didn't know any better but he was already quite a bit in her eyes. She enjoyed and loved her time around him even if he could be awkward around her.

"Wow, really? I see a lot of the daddies and they like protect and help the kids, kind of like you do but....," it was awkward she still felt like she had a long ways to go like Reox could still manage to be distant from her despite all her attempts to bridge the gap between them. She hoped that if she was there enough, that if she supported him enough, she could be good enough to get close to him finally.
